This 12-hectare vineyard was born in Santenay in 1987 from the meeting between winemaker Gino Capuano and former footballer Jean Marc Ferreri.
In 2009, John Capuano succeeded his father Gino as the head of the estate.
The grapes are manually harvested and sorted. All wines are traditionally aged in wooden barrels using French oak.
The wines are bottled with the respect and delicacy befitting their appellation.
Notes and Reviews
Beautiful ruby colour of good intensity, with mauve reflections on the edges of the disc.
The nose develops a fine, ample, and complex aromatic palette of small red and black fruits (cherries, raspberries, blackcurrants, candied fruits), intertwined with light woody (oak) and floral (gillyflower) notes.
A full-bodied palate, with massive, tight, ripe tannins that give an elegant, rich feeling, well wrapped in a delicious blackcurrant aromatic boost.
